Honoring the best senior player in the state, this event is open to all amateur players who are 55 years of age or older. A competitive handicap index is established each year as competitors vie for this special title over a two-day period. To date, John Nies, Jr. stands as the only individual who holds both a Junior (1947) and Senior (1994) title.
