Feature: Bill & Erin Boyle Claim 2008 Father & Daughter Title

It was a finish worthy of a title. After finding themselves in a tie for first place following 18 holes of golf at Ludlow Country Club, the team of William Boyle and Erin Boyle secured their first-ever MGA Championship on Tuesday by draining an eagle putt on the second playoff hole to claim the 2008 Massachusetts Father & Daughter title.

The duo from Wellesley finished regulation with a score of 1-over par 73, which was equal to the mark set by Paul Frankian and Stephanie Frankian. After both teams made bogey on the challenging 210-yard, par 3 1st hole, the Boyles took over by posting an incredible eagle on the second hole to secure the victory.
